A. Hello, my name is Kostya, and my Instagram is kosty.tilt. I started riding scooters when I was 8 years old. At that time, there were about 10 people in the city riding scooters. I saw them riding and got inspired to take up this hobby. Back then, we didn't have any skate parks, and until 2018, I only rode in the streets.

A. 렛지와 레일 중 하나를 선택하라면 레일이 더 좋아요. 레일 위에서는 더 다양한 트릭을 생각해 낼 수 있습니다. 렛지를 덜 좋아하는 이유는 렛지에서 계속 뛰어내리면 무릎과 척추에 무리가 가기 때문입니다.
Q. Do you prefer ledges or rails?
A. If I had to choose between ledges and rails, I prefer rails. I can come up with more varied tricks on rails. I also like ledges less because repeatedly jumping off them can quickly take a toll on your knees and spine.
Q. 기초 트릭인 테일휩과 바스핀 중 한 가지만 할 수 있다면 무엇을 선택하실 건가요?
A. 바스핀과 테일휩 중 하나를 선택한다면 바스핀을 선택하겠습니다. 더 많은 조합을 생각해 낼 수 있고 저에게 더 편한 트릭입니다. 하지만 테일휩도 좋고, 그렇지 않으면 라인을 만드는 것이 불가능한 기본 트릭이기도 합니다.
Q. If you could only do one basic trick, a tailwhip or a barspin, which would you choose?
A. If I had to choose between a barspin and a tailwhip, I would choose the former. I can think of more combinations and it’s a more comfortable trick for me. However, tailwhips are also good, and it's an essential basic trick to create lines.

A. 기분과 제가 타는 장소에 따라 다르죠. 하지만 대부분의 경우 테일휩 바스핀, 테일휩 더블바스핀을 합니다. 레일에서는 종종 50-50 오버 50-50을 하거나 힐 보드슬라이드를 합니다.
Q. What is your favorite scooter trick?
A. It depends on my mood and where I’m riding. But most of the time, I do tailwhip barspin and tailwhip double barspin. On rails, I often do 50-50 over 50-50 or heel boardslides.

Q. How did you get sponsored by Hellride?
A. Initially, I wanted to join a completely different team and tried to get in for over a year. However, I had always bought my scooter parts from just one store, which is Hellride. In the summer of 2023, I kept paying attention to the Hellride team composition because the coolest and craziest riders in our country were part of it. I had already talked to many of them and realized they were very cool people. So I decided I wanted to join this team, and three months later, they accepted me as a sponsor. That moment made me incredibly happy.
Q. 스쿠터를 타면서 가장 기억에 남는 순간이나 장소가 있습니까?
A. 그런 순간들이 몇 가지 있어요. 저는 모든 대회와 잼을 기억해요. 가장 즐거운 추억들 중 일부에요. 그런 감정들은 말로 표현할 수 없어요. 그리고 물론 헬라이드 팀에 들어가는 것도 포함됩니다.
Q. Do you have any memorable moments or places while riding scooters?
A. I have several of those moments. I remember all the competitions and jams. They are some of the most enjoyable memories. Those feelings are indescribable. And of course, joining the Hellride team is also included.
Q. 좋아하는 스쿠터 브랜드는 무엇입니까?
A. 이것은 어려운 질문입니다. 저는 틸트만 선택하곤 했습니다. 스쿠터를 돌려 이 부분을 미끄러질 수 있는 유일한 보편적인 브랜드라고 생각합니다. 모든 브랜드에 단점이 있지만 틸트는 편안함으로 그 단점을 보완합니다. 하지만 최근에는 에틱 데크를 시도해 보기로 결정했고, 다른 부품들도 추가했습니다. 제 생각이 바뀌었고, 에틱이 틸트보다 뒤처지지 않는다는 것을 깨달았습니다. 어떤 면에서는 훨씬 더 편안합니다.
Q. What is your favorite scooter brand?
A. This is a difficult question. I used to only choose Tilt. I think it’s the only universal brand that can slide this part when the scooter is turned. There are drawbacks everywhere, but Tilt covers them with comfort. However, recently I decided to try the Ethic deck, and along with it, I added the rest of the components. I changed my mind and realized that Ethic is not a bit behind Tilt and, in some aspects, much more comfortable.
Q. 스쿠터를 탈 때 선호하는 의류 브랜드나 스타일이 있습니까?

Q. Do you have any preferred clothing brands or styles when riding scooters?
A. I do not know how to answer this question. Everyone just rides in what they find comfortable. I prefer wide jeans and t-shirts. I can't say much about wearing brands while riding as it can ruin the clothes. I prefer Adidas brand, specifically Superstar, or Nike Air Force sneakers.

A. 아직 미래에 대한 계획은 없어요. 스쿠터를 타는 것이 즐겁고, 가장 좋아하는 일입니다. 앞으로 계속 발전하고 대회에 참가하고 싶습니다.

A. I do not have any plans for the future yet, I’m riding because it makes me happy. It’s my favorite thing to do. I just want to keep progressing and participate in competitions.
